This is the stuff fairy tales are made of. I just don't know why I am so blessed.
All this started after I saw the video by Mooji. I randomly searched for Mooji Sangha in Bangalore to check if there were more seekers like me. I came across Anantaji's website (www.anantasatsang.org), and the interesting part was, I knew Anantaji (Tapan Garg) professionally when he used to run an IT firm and we had met a few times. And guess what - our kids went to the same school and the elder ones were in the same class. So we've met each other a few times at school during PTA meetings.
And the Guru ensures that his disciples don't lose their path. Anantaji's house is between my home and office. He ensured I went to Satsang regularly🙂 . When we met - there were more such connections - he too studied in Pune. Here was a Guru who came in the form of a friend.
Anantaji is the most gentle and loving being I have ever met. Lovingly called Father by all of us, he is just that. We are his children, in his loving care. But as a Guru, he knows exactly what we need, there are the occasional "chops".
Satsang with Anantaji, is a treasure trove for both the devotional ones and the intellectuals. And since he too was an IT entrepreneur, he knows how to relate to us. While the term Satsang may not appeal to all folks - let me clarify - it is essentially an informal meeting where he answers all the questions we have. In our discussions, we end up discussing the various Gitas (Ashtavakra, Ribhu etc) as well as works of western philosophers & thinkers like Socrates, Kant, Descartes and teachings of other Masters like Ramana Mahirshi, Papaji, Nisargadatta Maharaj & Adi Shankara.
I would definitely recommend that you attend one of his weekly online Satsang, or visit him in Bangalore.
Thank you Anantaji, and I pray that I remain forever at your feet.
