Guru's Grace - Sri Sri Ravishankar

My introduction to Sri Sri Ravishankar & his teachings happened around 2006 when our children took admission at a school started as part of his educational initiatives. We loved the school - it was a homely atmosphere, run by volunteer teachers. It was in the middle of a farm, and was pretty much like a picnic for them. They followed the Montessori method of education inter laced with Yoga, classical music, some dance and a lot of shlokas and bhajans! Every year the kids and parents would visit the Art Of Living (AOL) Ashram situated on the outskirts of Bangalore. We would spend half a day there, have lunch and attend Satsang with Sri Sri and get entertained by activities done by the children.

Soft spoken, gentle, simple - overflowing with love & wisdom - is how I would describe Sri Sri. With AOL, he created an easy way to help people overcome the stress of life, and also a path for serious seekers to self-realization. Each Master creates his own unique path and by Grace -all who resonate with that path - end up reaching it. Your Guru finds you when you are ready🙂

I had the grace to be in his presence a few more times, and while there was nothing unique to describe - I know that in matters of spirituality - a lot of things happen in mysterious ways. I also did an Art Of Living program - which is a stepping stone to well being & further spiritual development.

Art Of Living is also popular for its large collection of beautiful Bhajans. These are classic Indian compositions rendered by expert singers & followers of Sri Sri - enveloping you in peace & filling your hearts with joy, love & devotion.
