VUCA World - Really?

Volatile, Uncertain, Chaotic & Ambiguous - coined by and considered "certain”- (in an uncertain world ) - in the halls of management thinking!

Volatile?

Every morning we wake up to a vibrant play of color and sound. Don’t limit your field to just a crowded inbox of petty issues :). Wars, bankruptcies & pandemics come and go! What’s a game without some Blacks in the Whites.

Uncertain?

Maybe the negotiation did not go well or the deal went bust - but the tiny organ called the heart and gazillions of cells in over a trillion life forms keep ticking on. Pause for a moment & observe.

Chaotic?

Observe the universe - do you see chaos or harmony. These gigantic spheres seem to be gracefully moving around at crazy speeds - and I’m here, on one of them - typing away peacefully on my phone.

Ambiguous?

Ask the salmon that swim miles upstream every year or the migratory birds that fly across oceans, or that funny creature in the deepest and darkest part of the ocean - hey do you suffer from ambiguity? :).

It’s just Homo Sapiens that feel it so! Let’s not scare ourselves and our younger generation. Problems will always be there and so will solutions - but life will evolve & adapt! Do we think our ancestors had a bad life without cell phones and electric cars?

Let’s celebrate life! You don’t need to create anything new, just a simple shift in perspective.
